Hello! My name is Rachel Brown. I live in New York City. I write songs, record them, then sing them on stage. Now I write this blog!

I've spent much of the past few years on tour. I've gotten to see parts of the United States that I've never seen before, and some that I'll probably never see again. The realization that some of these trips would be more or less once-in-a-lifetime adventures inspired me to make the most out of them by seeking out the unique and interesting (for better or for worse)  in every town (and city!) I visit. Up until now those memories have been stored in my camera roll and a couple notes in my (much neglected) journal, occasionally a few photos sneaking onto my Instagram, but mainly without context. Well, this blog is the context!

Plus a few travel tricks and tips I've learned along the way.
